Bruce,
Many thanks for your reply. Several people have been very generous in offerring advice.
It seems at this stage that we'll be struggling to visit all the schools who offered to allow us to visit, but we'd still like to get as many ideas as we can.
Is there any possibility of taking a few photos of your facilities and sending them to us? I'm sure they would be of great assistance to us in designing a facility to serve us well into the future. I'm happy to send you a copy of our final design!
Many thanks for your time and effort.
Regards,
Mal

hi mal
i was a part-time consultant for nsw catholic education in sydney in the
late 80s and early 90s
my main focus was on new technology curriculum implementation and the
impact this had on technology building design
i have completely designed two technology education centres from start
to finish, assisted with the preliminary design of two others,
and consulted with NSW DET Special Projects and Properties people in the
development of their 'Technology Building Guidelines'
they in fact adopted every aspect of my design specifications into their
special building codes
if you feel i may be of some assistance - albeit from NSW - just give me
a hoy
cheers
