[Informatics] ERD Notation

my personal view - Students always prefer infographics in my view because it is just so much easier to complete. I also agree during covid that infographics were what my students chose.
To then have data visualisations in the exam seems a bit unreasonable unless it was just general questions.
I would be going back to VCAA themselves and looking at how much support they gave teachers to help teach data visualisations according to the study design. If the VCAA can't provide sufficient and detailed resources to ensure that all teachers can teach this the same consistent way, then it is very hard to assess students with teachers that may not have covered it as well.

That being said there has been some great data viz tutorials being run by Tabelau in the last week that have been showing how people have been creating data viz's. The creators have shown everyone how they did it- they are really great as teachers in DA to get our head around these concepts.

Definitely, not sure what I thought of the exam it seemed to have too much reference to dynamic data visualisations which may have thrown many kids as the SAT gave them a choice and I suspect with covid most would have gone infographic. What are others thoughts.

I had the same thoughts. A quick search through the current study design revealed no references to ERDs for me (maybe I missed it?), so I'm not going to stress over it. A little late now, anyway.
