[Informatics] Validation and Databases

Hi Litsa and welcome back to another year……

Just thinking about you’re the validation it seems that if that data were entered via a form on a website the form what have the restriction and not allow the data to be entered. I would accept it as data validation as you could have your raw data set and then the validated data set and it would be easy to compare and explain why it is not valid?

Outcome 1 here we come.

Oh and yes I have moved school in the footsteps of Mark Kelly…I have big shoes to fill but very ready for it.

Good morning,

I hope the term has started well for yo all.

I have a little question regarding validation - normally we create our databases/spreadsheets with validation ready to accept data.

If the validation is entered before importing, it rejects the data that does not meet the criteria.

Would that be considered towards showing validation techniques for U3-O1? Obviously there will be data entry and data editing to show it, I was more so thinking about the importing part.
