 Over the years a number of resources have come through on Edulists which I have posted on the web site eg. Python Resources under SofDev below linked from the home page on the tree.

I found a good resource to start was https://www.brianheinold.net/books.html
Also for GUI work, improvement on tkinter was https://pypi.org/project/PySimpleGUI/
