[Informatics] Year 10 subjects

Hi Slyvia

In the past I taught a Game Making course using Gamemaker.
On the State’s Edustar image it is on it but it is a free download and not the full version but for sense and purposes
it works really well the subject was called game design. The kids loved it you can make games using GML the language of gamemaker which has a fantastic interface. The games can be complied and saved as executable games and runs on PC and Mac. The full version even let’s you convert them into apps for android and os phones.

I have tons of resources and happy to share drop me a line if you like.

Can pop them somewhere for you and onto a USB.

Hope this helps also have the documentation for a Semester Elective Unit.

hi there
Would anyone be able to share what you are offering for Year 10 in regards to Information Technology. Would love to see a course syllabus and description. We are thinkng about creating a Gaming in Society class so would love to see what other schools are doing
