I can just imagine a new category of environmental damage:

'please sir, a silverfish corrupted my homework'...

a silverfish bit my bytes?


and, going way off tangentially, if silverfish eat only starch/sugars, 
why don't they get diabetes? does this warrant 'ignobel' research?
