[Informatics] Predecessor, dependency question - Gantt charts

Hi Tony,
Generally I’d suggest PM theory wouldn’t approve of this, but it works in Ganttproject so I’m allowing my students to use this option as it doesn’t make a huge difference.

Hi All,

I have told my student that dependencies should not be linked to milestones (no duration, but a key date),  but to tasks, and now I am second guessing myself.
Can a milestone have a dependent task? and can a milestone be a predecessor to another task. I think not.

Any consensus?
