While I may chortle at MS Paint, I must confess that I still use *Microsoft
Image Composer 1.5* after 17 years.
For quick cropping, image-stitching, or special effects it's still my first
go-to tool.
I only fire up Photoshop for the trickier stuff.
Mind you, it takes an effort to keep agèd software running in compatibility
mode after endless OS upgrades.
Come to think of it, my computer is like a home for geriatric software.
D'oh.
BTW, if you've regretted upgrading your apps, you might want to visit
oldapps.com.
Go back to the good old days when your favourite software did what you
wanted it to do.
Regards,
Mark
