Greetings Liz

further to Lucas comments.
Be aware all these resources have bene posted to student cheat websites, solutions have been made available, sometimes free, sometimes not.

You will need to alter any published SAC..this is always a good way of you checking it actually works/hangs together and does what it may appear to do.

a discussion about potential SAC scenarios may be a useful conversation here or in a shared doc
(google doc with vetted membership-school email required)

i’ll start with a suggested SAC

a dog walking small business, with option of dogwash
features to include picture of the dog, owner contact details, dog’s name(duplicates confusion), calendar of appointments,

regards
Gary
(on leave-in between contracts!)

I would encourage each teacher to evaluate the DLTV Resource Kit and / or QATs to see if they sufficiently cover the Key Knowledge and Key Skills for each subject.

> Yes Liz you?ve pretty much nailed it, give them a case study setup with some data, they design and create the solution in a database along with some test data and tables and then report on it.

(Hours would be helpful) I?d recommend going to the SAT Informatics training day session Tuesday 21st February - it?s free so hopefully your school won?t bat an eye lid about you attending http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/vce/pd/2017-School-assessed-Task-Professional-Learning-Sessions-form.aspx

> Unit 3 SAC One ? Eight periods
> Unit 3 SAT Part One - Sessions throughout the second half of Semester one
> Unit 4 SAT Part Two - Sessions throughout the first half of Semester two
> Unit 4 SAC 2 ? 2 periods (written test)
