While this article is US-centric, much of this also applies to Oz and might
be a useful real-life scenario to demonstrate to your darlings the dangers
of biting on every phishing hook you see, re-using passwords, or having
blind faith in the security protocols of people to whom you entrust
personal information (such as tax agents, or perhaps cloud providers).
There's also information on disturbing new tricks of the scamming trade,
such as lodging an early return on the victim's behalf and pocketing the
refund.
It's just another reason to climb under the doona and eat Tim Tams while
considering changing your ATO password from "123456" to something a little
more secure.
