Hi all

I would like to create an up to date list of programming languages that are being taught in high schools with linked learning resources. The intent of the survey is to create a published list that could be used to introduce programming to teachers and students who are new to coding.

Scenario a teacher new to programming has been told that they will be teaching Java at Year 10 next year. What online resources are available for that teacher to learn the language over the break?

A student wants to learn C# because that's the coding language used in their favorite game, where do they go to learn it?

Instructions.
I want you to nominate one Object Orientated programming language that you have taught or recently taught and then nominate the best online resource to learn that language. I then want you to nominate a general-purpose programming language (must be able to program iteration, selection and functions) and the best online resource to learn that language. I've given you the option to nominate one additional language as well.

What happens to the data?
Initially the responses will sit in my Office 365 account. I'll compile the data and share it, minus the names, with other VCAA Digital Coding Specialist teachers and we'll seek to get it published online.

If you have any questions email me personally croke.daryl.d at edumail.vic.gov.au<mailto:lilikakis.mary-anne.m at edumail.vic.gov.au>
