[Informatics] Informatics SAT Criteria 5-8

Dear colleagues

My sincere apologies for the inclusion of the second authentication record – it is probably easiest for everyone to continue using the first authentication sheet. If, however you want a more detailed authentication sheet, then also use the one related to criteria 5 to 8.

It is timely to just remind teachers of the importance of these authentication records. When discussing student progress, if you have sufficient doubts about the authenticity of student work, please do not sign the authentication record. You must be provided with sufficient evidence from the student that the work they present is theirs – check your school’s policy on this. If a student attests that the work is original (through a signature) and it is subsequently found to be otherwise, this will involve the VCAA in making decisions about student results. Your principal needs to attest to the authenticity of student work when results are submitted through VASS, and you need to have documentary evidence to substantiate or refute authenticity.

Regards
Paula

Thanks Mark,

What I have noticed is that there appears to be another authentication record for SAT 2.

So does that mean we need to complete both sets of records or do I leave the bottom 3 of the first authentication record blank?

Adric
