[Informatics] informatics Digest, Vol 7, Issue 52

Hi John,

Yes I'm aware that is what C3 is related to (the manipulation of data into
information) however, I was referring to C2 where they simply must just
show what data they have acquired, validated and referenced. Some teachers
may be doing this differently, but i'm doing mine in stages. For example,
this Monday, students had to submit all of their unedited data, but have
had to demonstrate what techniques they have used to improve the integrity
of that data, in line with the criteria (timeliness, accuracy, relevance
and authenticity) along with using a correct referencing technique and
evidence of complex data. The next stage which is due in next Friday for my
two classes is the manipulation and finding stage, in line with C3. I'm
also aware that this whole outcome directly relates to Analysis only, with
the next 3 stages being done in U4O1.

I hope this has had cleared this up :)

Cheers
