I agree I think it is a terrific use of resources available and as long as the student creates the survey and collates their own data I can't see any issues with it.

I think as long as the method is recorded, and the mother is acknowledged then I don't see an issue with it. 

It's really going to be hard for many kids to collect the required data and if they are able to use there wider network, why not.

Hi all,
Is a student allowed to get someone else to collect data on their behalf? For example, I have a student whose mum works at another school. He wants her to collect data for him. I suppose if he created the Google Form and she just distributed it via hyperlink, there wouldn't be an issue would there? He would still be getting the data directly. I am not at ease about this, but I can't quite put my finger on why. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
