[Informatics] A nasty SAT surprise

Have you noticed the nasty surprise in the SAT?

Page 2 of the SAT admin info PDF says "*If qualitative data is collected*,
there must be evidence of how it is codified."  This clearly implies that
the use of qualitative data is OPTIONAL.

But now look at the assessment criteria for criterion 2 on page 7.

The '5-6 marks' and '7-8 marks' descriptors both *insist* on the use of
'both qualitative and quantitative data' (Q+Q)

To make matters worse, the need for Q+Q is not repeated in the '9-10 marks'
descriptor where most people automatically look for a list of all the
qualities of a top-performer.

Unlike the needs for primary+secondary, and at least 2 data types, the need
for Q+Q is not mentioned anywhere else in the SAT admin PDF - it can only
be found deeply buried in the assessment criteria.

This, I feel, is unfair. Grrrr.
