[Informatics] U3O1 SAC

I had originally intended to do it in the last two weeks of term one, but yes, may need to bump this after seeing how long they suggest it should take. I have many students who have not actually used a DB before so they have the learning curve of the actual software itself as well.

I wouldn't see this as being a major issue given that term two is longer so the time evens out across the two of them.

Good morning,

We agree with you Michael.

We have two year 12 classes and both teachers have agreed to run it at the beginning of term 2.

Regards

Hi all,
Just looking at the sample SAC in the DLTV resource kit and noticed it suggests 500 minutes to complete the task. Given it's such a short term, is it expected that we should have this SAC finished by the end of term? If I took the last two weeks of term to undertake the SAC, that gives me only 5.2 weeks for students to learn the content and become proficient at the tasks. Surely that's asking a bit too much! How are you all dealing with this?

Cheers,
Michael
