Thanks for this.
Here's a few vids I intend to use with Ch.1. I want to illustrate that
good design should get *good* data. I've just started on the upgrade
program for next year's year 12 students.
some sourced from youtube

"Psychology, Human Evolution and Game Design" [not a great presenter,
but has some very interesting things to say]

"What the #$%@ is UX Design" [australian voice! hooray!]

I usually ask local businesses for authentic experiences of the topic at
hand.
I had a fantastic time a fortnight ago at GlaxoKlineSmith [friend is the
Opiate IT manager] and it was a right old eye opener.
Wherever possible, I'll put visiting students into the pointy end of the
business world so they can see what we bang on about at work.
Next on the agenda: Colac Shire head office for a stickybeak at
ratepayers database. Maybe revisit Wbool Centrelink again :-)
And scouring TED for interesting talks on databases.
Share your found vid clips to illustrate and reinforce database concepts.

thank you.
