[Informatics] DLTV VCE Resource Kit

Hi guys,
I was also part of the unpacking resource kit PD (online) which was going to be held tomorrow and the PD has been delayed until early next year:

My apologies about this, but we will have to postpone OL446 Introduction of the DLTV Resource Kit Informatics Thursday afternoon 5:30-700 p.m.
We will run this session when the DLTV Resource Kit is published early next year.

From the message, I’m assuming that it will be next year when the resource kit is actually going to be delivered. I am also inclined not to pay the invoice until I know the kit is operational.

I know it is probably a hard line to take, but if I order something and my school says, “well let’s have a look at these resources” and they are not released, then they are going to question what they paid for.

I hope advice for teachers comes out a little before “early next year”… ;P

I also realise it’s a huge task to get these resources together and that alone is worth the price of paying for them – and the people writing them are possibly still teaching classes even into next week.  So it’s just a matter of preparing the first SACs ourselves and being ready for when the resource pack arrives.

I had a reply from them saying – “DLTV apologises for the delay in forwarding you the DLTV Resource Kit. The delay is due to copyright issues that we are rectifying as quick as we possibly can.”

Does anyone have any idea when the VCE Resource Kit is coming out?  I emailed DLTV but have heard nothing back.  I guessing they’re a little busy with these types of inquiries.
