[Busmanagers] Staff Personnel Files

Hi Jonelle – 35 years from the date of cessation.  

 

Guess it’s up to you where you keep them.  In the last week I have managed to forward on at least 10 that we had.  I went thru the Global address list and found the 10 were working at other schools and hadn’t bothered to ask for their files.  We currently have 10 drawers going.  We only just purchased another 4 drawer one this year so hoping the 10 will last while I am here.  After I’m gone it’s the next person’s problem.

Could someone PLEASE put me out of my misery and tell that I don’t need to keep personnel files in the fire proof safe indefinitely?  I am running out of room and REALLY don’t want to have to buy another safe.
