[Busmanagers] Student Teacher Supervision

I am about to put my first student teacher supervision allowance onto
HRMS.  I am using code TPS which was mentioned in earlier emails.
 
I am just wondering about the dates - do I put in the start and finish
dates of the actual time the student was at the school and therefore it
will effectively end up an underpayment?  Or do I just leave the
effective date as today's date and don't put an end date?
 
The circular that tells us we need to do this, doesn't actually tell us
how to do it!!  The HR Website still refers to payments being processed
via local payroll.
