Hi Brigid
No need to advertise as it is only range not classification. The
applicant needs to submit an application that provides evidence of how
they are undertaking and meeting the descriptors for the level to which
they want to be reclassified. It is up to your school how the process
happens. Our consultative committee calls for a panel to make the
decision and the panel can interview the applicant if they feel they
need to.
Regards
Marianne

Subject: [Busmanagers] SSO Range Review
Good Afternoon everyone,
Does anyone know if there is a set procedure for an SSO who requests a
Range Review, I have been reading SOFWEB and apart from them requesting
one, their does not seem to be a standard format of what action the
Principal should take etc. The request is from an SSO2-3 to an SSO2-5
as this is a significant jump in classification I need to ensure we
follow the correct procedure.
