Hi Glenis,
At our school, the teachers keep their rolls for the month. Everyday before=
9.30, each class send down an absence report for the previous day and leave=
it in a central position in the office. This reduces disruption in the off=
ice as well. I then enter info into Admin. At the end if the week, I run o=
ff the incomplete attendance recording and let the staff know if I am missin=
g theirs for a particular day. This seems to work well.
Hope you find something that will work for you.
Regards
Kate Garside

Subject: [Busmanagers] RE: Collecting Rolls
Morning All
We have a new Prin, and she would like me to investigate different practices=
of collecting rolls/absences.
I know everyone is busy, but if you could jot down your school's way of doin=
g things, I would really appreciate your help.
We have had rolls delivered from the office everyday and collected every aft=
ernoon by students since the year dot, and she would like to reduce the time=
the children are out of class!
Thanks heaps
Glynis Singh
