Yep that is right.  I forgot about that.  It's the same as for someone
who is promoted.  The review date changes to the start of the promotion.
I guess it shows that none of us BM's know everything all of the time.

I have just spoken to HR who advised me that as she has gone up a step
the review date will be as from her new re-hire.  All very confusing!!!!

12 months from the date of original hire (assuming her rehire means
she/he had been employed continuously).  If there has been a break in
service use the calculator found @ HR A-Z index, under C for
calculators.  Cheers

Hi All,

 

We had an SSO on a fixed term contract this term who has now been
re-hired until end of 2008.  What would I put her review date as - the
date she was first hired or as from her new contract?  You can tell it's
Friday - mind gone blank.
