Certificates in Lieu
(Also Known As Auxilary Medical Leave)
A Certificate in lieu refers to a certificate issued by a person
registered to practise as a dentist, physiotherapist, chiropractor,
osteopath, optometrist or psychologist who is a member (or eligible for
membership) of the board of the Clinical Branch of the Australian
Psychological Society.
Certificates in lieu are not accepted for more than an aggregate of five
days (38 hours) in any calendar year (for members of the teaching
service) or any year of service (for school services officers).

medical certificate or an in lieu certificate for sick leave purposes?
