The Dept Policy for SSO's attending camp is as follows:

 

Attend School Camps (for each 24 hour period, 12 hours will be allowed).
>From the 12 hours normal working hours will be deducted - the balance
will be time in lieu.

This is in the SSO handbook I think page 17.
