Hi Everyone,

The following information was emailed to me today.  Our school has
already organised for all our SSO staff to have their WWC check and the
service below would have been fantastic for us, especially when we had a
curriculum day or parent/teacher interview day.  However, it may be of
interest to other schools and a great initiative from Australia Post.

One school who has taken advantage of the service has found Ian Prentice
to be very helpful. I hope the information is of value to you. 

 

As you are aware Australia Post has been appointed by the Victorian
Department of 

Justice to conduct Working With Children interviews. As part of our
commitment to

providing your business with the best possible service we are happy to
provide the

following service in relation to Working With Children checks:

* Provide you with application forms and a 'cheat sheet' to help
applicants complete the 

application forms.

* Provide a 'To Do" list to applicants to help with providing correct
Proof of Identity 

documentation.

* Provide booking diary pages to assist organisers to arrange interview
times at the 

work place.

* Provide a 'To Do' list for organisers to help organise the interviews
from an

administration point of view.

* Provide reports to organisers regarding applicants that were listed
but did not

present for the interview.

* Provide reports to organisers for matters that may need to be followed
up

* Provide passport sized, (WWC compliant) photos

* Interviews are conducted at the organisations premises at a time
convenient to 

the organisation.

* Post will visit your organisation prior to the interviews to discuss
the process if needed,

to assist organisers. Also organisations will have complete access to
the staff

conducting the interviews.

Post does not charge any additional fee to provide this service.

Charges are as follows.

Working With Children Application Fee for Employee $71.70

Working With Children Application Fee for Volunteer No fee

Passport size photo $12.95 ea
