[Busmanagers] Coin Counting Machines

We have a coin counting machine purchased through Lyreco last year for
approx $200-00.  It has paid for itself time and time again just in the
time it takes me to recount things that parents collect.  It I very
simple to operate.

 

The only criticism that I have is the tubes that collect the 20cents and
10cents only hold $5-00 not $10-00 due to the size limitations but once
you get used to the fact that is takes two lots to make the correct
amount for the coin bags it's not a real problem.

 

Unfortunately we are also having a Parents Group Function that same time
so I can't lend it to you but I can certainly recommend it.  ( It even
comes with instructions on how to pull it apart if you get coins stuck.)

Our Annual Apple and Wine Festival (May 6th) generates a huge amount of
coin to be counted. We are planning to purchase a coin counting machine,
but there are so many Makes, Models and massive price differences
between the brands. Do any of you have one at your school that we can
trial, or alternately if you have used any brands could you let me know
the pros and cons of it.Thanks for any feedback.
