Hi Cheryl, the information you are after is in Circular 209/2005 -
Implementation of Choice of Superannuation Fund.

 A CRT for the purpose of the act is considered a new employee each time
a school employs them, regardless if they have been employed before.
Employment has to be longer than 28 continous days.

 

If the employee is hired on an annual basis with ad hoc attendance, a
Standard choice form is to be given to them.

Good morning all

 

I have a new employee on local payroll who wishes to contribute to a
different super fund.  I have found the relevant forms to complete but
would like to know what criteria the staff member needs to meet for this
to occur.  I remember reading somewhere that they must work a certain
amount of regular hours and for a certain amount of time.  

 

I may be confused but if any kind person could point me in the right
direction that would be great.  

 

Remember only 12 more sleeps until the end of term!!!!
