[Busmanagers] Change of Electricity Meter

Hi Everyone,

 

Today we had a technician from DMS call at the school to change our
electricity meter to enable the change of electricity company to a new
retailer - Powercor. He told me he had changed the meter in about 10
schools so far.  His paperwork did not contain any reference to DET at
all, just had our school name on it.

 

I have not received any information from DET about this occurring,
although do recall a DET circular regarding Whole of Government
Tendering for Electricity.

 

Has anyone got any information that I may have missed?  I sent the
technician away until I can confirm if this really is DET authorised.
