Hello everyone,

I received this information from Gavan Podbury's seminars email. I like
it and was hoping we could implement the "thank you EOM" to our business
manager's list. The list contains many messages that we take the time
to open and find just the words thank you.

I thought you might be interested in

a potential 'time saving' tip?

It's based on research indicating that....

40% of e-mails contain less than 10 words.

When you send short emails - consider placing the entire message in the
- *Subject Line*

and end the message with "EOM"

(eg) Meeting now at 3pm tomorrow EOM

(eg) Please pick up milk on the way home EOM

EOM is short for - "End of Message"

EOM signals that the email may not need to be opened as the whole
message is contained within the 'subject line'

Possible Result: Valuable time saved

The use of EOM is gaining fast popularity

Further examples:

Thank You. EOM
