[Busmanagers] laptop internet access

I assume that the problem being experienced is that the teachers may be
having problems connecting to a range of web sites including EduMail and
Recruitment Online.  This is due to some settings on their notebook
computer.  Fortunately this is a known problem and there is a fix
available at

Hi All,

 

A couple of weeks ago I recall seeing an e-mail instructing how teachers
can access their edumail from home.  Apparently with some of the new
laptops there have been difficulties.  Could anyone let me know what
needs to be done.

I know that the issue of internet access on teachers laptops  was
mentioned just recently, however I deleted the emails.  Now in the
staffroom
teachers are discussing the problem of not being able to get on to the
internet with their laptops.  Could someone send me the info
