If you think it is a little suspicious, then ring DE&T and get advice.  Ask 
them to bring in absolutely any documentation that may confirm age.  Have 
they got a Health Care Card - that may be an avenue because Centrelink will 
have that information.  Medicare card may be an avenue for the parents to 
gain confirmation of DOB.  Is the family of ethnic origin?
