[Busmanagers] Issues to take to BM Finance meeting

I found the literature hazy also.  I actually forgot about the new guidelines and advertised elsewhere this week.  As Glynis stated, what will happen if we don’t use the system?

Hi Chris

We mainly use our local community news, but have had dealings with Leader Newspapers recently.  In this case they have rung us to participate in an advertising page regarding their community awards and need to know pretty much that day – it would put us at a disadvantage for that particular advertising if we have to submit to the broker then wait until they negotiate with Leader, possibly to the extent of missing out on the spot on the page.  I would like to know more about the timelines for using the new system, as I thought they were a bit hazy in the literature, and if they were too drawn out, what happens if we do not use the new system?

I am going to the Business Managers Finance Group Meeting next week, and as the EMR rep I am asking if anyone has any finance issues that they wish me to take to the meeting.

 

Has anyone got any issues with the new advertising guidelines? Have you used the new system and found the rates cheaper or more expensive.
