[Busmanagers] Changing Bank Account

No problems using Credit Unions. They now have the same standing as
banks regarding going broke!

Hi Imelda

 

I was under the impression that after the collapse of a few Building
Societies/Credit Unions in the past (Pyramid etc), that schools were not
allowed to use anyone other than an official bank.

 

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Are there schools out there
using Credit Unions for there Official accounts?

Hi everyone,

 

I would like to change our Official Account from the Bendigo Bank due to
the bank fees etc.

 

So far I like meuc for their total lack of bank fees, competitive
merchant rate, commitment to the BM Association and schools.

 

I already have an investment account with them but what I would like to
know is whether anyone uses them for their Official account.

 

Also, does anyone have some sort of checklist for the procedures
involved with changing Banks.
