We went onto EFTPOS for credit and debit cards 3 years ago.  It was the
best thing we ever did.  We tracked income vs. fees for a couple of
years, just to make sure the expense justified the revenue and it
certainly did.  We changed to a "small business" plan a year or so back
which has also saved us money.  
 
We are with the CBA and we pay  an agreed monthly access fee of $19.80,
plus 1.5% service fee on debit card transactions.  The Merchant Service
Fee for credit cards is 1.835% per transaction.

We currently use the old 'click clack' swipper for credit card payments
but are seriously thinking of going 'electronic'.  I would like to hear
from others how they find using EFTPOS transactions especially in
relation to CASES 21F.  We accept credit card payments for any payments.
