Hi Tracey

We have changed our official account to MECU and also have a term
deposit. They are no different to a bank in regards to fund security.
Credit Union's meet the same requirements these days. There service to
me has been great and they will save me fees on  the official account
compared to what I paid with NAB.

I have today received a letter from MECU intelligent banking offering 6%
for any new deposits invested prior to 14th April 2006. Does anybody
have funds with this institute and what sort of guarantee do they give
on your funds.
