[Busmanagers] Junk Emails

Hi everyone

Just caught up with all the mail about this - I had a problem on the
school address - someone had responded to one of the 'bank details'
emails (we think).  It turned out that not only can these hackers change
their addresses frequently, once you have responded, they can 'piggy
back' off your address to send their junk on (hence the one with the
edumail address)!

 

Town seem to be able to do very little - we do still get all the various
medicinal/change of banking details/international money
offers/investment offers and foreign language mail, but we seem to have
lost all of the XXXX rated ones (at least I have not noticed any
recently).  Yes, delete them straight away, and any that seem to be very
offensive send on to the gurus.  In the hazy past I think we rang the
hotline and they gave us the address to forward the emails.

Hi Tracy,

 

There is information in the End of Period section of the C21F Finance
guide on what to do depending on whether you are expecting a refund or
payment to the ATO.  It is under the heading Preparation of Actual BAS
Return to the ATO on page 8:15.
