I had a look back in my emails and found this in relation to unsolicited
emails dated May 2005. Perhaps it would be worth contacting the
Information Technology Division if you are being inundated by these
emails especially if they are of a pornographic nature.

Unsolicited Emails
Information Technology Update (2005/23)
Recently, EduMail users may have received a number of unsolicited spam
emails with German subject lines. These emails contain links to Web
sites with racist or extremist political content.
This particular wave of spam has been caused by a mass mailer virus.
Receipt of such messages does not mean that your computer is infected
with a virus.
In response, a number of the known subject lines being generated by the
virus have been blocked on the EduMail mail system.
Staff are reminded that the most appropriate course of action for all
unsolicited email is to delete it.
Check that your Anti-Virus software is running and up-to-date. Double
click on the Symantec gold shield in the bottom right hand corner of
your Windows desktop. The virus definitions should never be older than 8
days.
Do NOT click on any links in these emails - doing so could install or
activate damaging software that could be used to launch virus attacks,
steal passwords, damage files on your computer.
Do NOT reply or respond to unsolicited emails - doing so confirms your
email address to the sender and will result in more of these types of
emails.
Do NOT attempt to opt-out or unsubscribe to unsolicited email as this
too only authenticates your email address.

General Manager
