[Busmanagers] Ordering system

Just be careful if you are looking at any others except E-schools online
which is the one that most schools are using, I would be making sure I
got excellent references and ensured the followup and maintenance from
people using the system before I went with the other company.

I am using SOS.  It is a very useful and productive program.  It is not
pretty to look at, but it is miles better than using books.  I agree
with Sharyn that teachers will choose their own codes and muck stuff up
but they do anyway.  We always check and code orders/invoices.

 

There is another program available - Req.  It is a much better looking
program. (old cases vs new cases appearance).  Don't know much about its
functionality other than SOS is an offshoot developed by a former
employee.

 

I would look at both if you are considering.  The saving is teacher
time, an order is at their fingertips, don't have to walk across to get
a book and find that the person next to them had the order book all
along.  Not chasing someone to sign, just ring and the order is approved
by phone or email.

 

The way to go definitely!

I did not know about REQord at the time I purchased SOS.  The first
upgrade from SOS has improved a few little not-so-good things.
Potentially an excellent product if it gets developed further.
