Rosemary

In the case of a member of the teaching service, they retain a maximum
of 35 sick days if they resign/retire (54/11 is a resignation by the
way, not a retirement), provided they are re-employed within 12 months.
In the case of an SSO or VPS staff member, they retain all their sick
leave providing they are re-employed within 12 months.

Subject: [Busmanagers] SICK LEAVE AFTER RETIREMENT

When a teacher takes retirement at 54/11 do they lose the sick leave
they have accumulated or if they come back on contract do they keep that
sick leave?

One staff member is telling me that they are entitled to the sick leave
accumulated for 7 years after retirement.
