[Busmanagers] SICK LEAVE AFTER RETIREMENT

I had the same for a teacher who resigned and returned. Was told that if a
staff member returns within 12 months of resignation, they are entitled to
35 (from memory but you are saying 45 so perhaps my memory fails me) days
sick leave - the rest is not reinstated.

That's correct - that's their re-hire entitlement.

We had the same thing happen - and a teacher came back from 54/11 with 360+
days sick leave entitlements. I had to do a sick leave review request form.

The teacher wasn't happy, but they're not entitled to keep it.

When this staff member left she had something like 145 days sick leave
owing.  On her pay slips now she has 45 days.

When we have put on staff who took 54/11 they came back with sick leave
credits automatically on their pay slips.

When a teacher takes retirement at 54/11 do they lose the sick leave they
have accumulated or if they come back on contract do they keep that sick
leave?

One staff member is telling me that they are entitled to the sick leave
accumulated for 7 years after retirement.
