Hi Rosemary,
They lose ALL their entitlements.
If they come back on a contract straight away, they receive another 45
days sick leave (??? I think), but the majority of their sick leave
should be wiped. It doesn't always happen though, and you may need to do
a sick leave review request.
I confirmed this with staffing and HRMS.
Cheers
Linda

Subject: [Busmanagers] SICK LEAVE AFTER RETIREMENT
When a teacher takes retirement at 54/11 do they lose the sick leave
they have accumulated or if they come back on contract do they keep that
sick leave?
One staff member is telling me that they are entitled to the sick leave
accumulated for 7 years after retirement.
