Charge by Charge reports also miss some valuable info - for instance -
if you enter a credit note for a charge entry that has been paid, the
credit note and the amendment to the totals do not show - also reverse
receipts do not show. This makes it tricky to easily identify how much
has been received for excursions etc. 

I wanted to print a list of parents that had supplied secondhand
clothing - to check which ones had been paid out etc( - you put on a
credit note against a charge -) but, no report would print (no charge
initially) - and I had to revert to a sub program report and then track
batches to get the parents' names.

Hi Roz

 

One little trap with charge by charge reports is the opening screen
where you select your charge type.  Make sure the subprogram codes
selected include the first and last code in your chart of accounts
otherwise the report may not print.  For some odd reason ours defaults
to start part way down the picklist.
