Calculation:  Time Fraction

 

Find number of hours  (less unpaid ½ hr lunch) x 5 for one week divide by 38.

 

6 x 5 = 30 divide by 38 = .789   which equates to .79   (anthing over .5 is taken to the next value)

Hi all,

 

Welcome back for 2006.

 

I am in need of help with SSO time fractions.    If we hire an integration aide 9.00 - 3.30 what time fraction would this be and how would it be calculated.    I'm unsure about allowance for lunch break etc.  

I would be very grateful if someone could help me with an explanation of calculations as I have others to work on.
