Hi Raelene,

 

You have already recorded it as revenue in 2006 which is the appropriate
period, so you do not need to do a balance day adjustment. You would
only do one if you recorded revenue for next year, e.g. 2007 subject
contributions. 

 

Minute at your first SC meeting next year when you present your December
and January finance reports, of balance day adjustments that were done,
if any.

I have invoiced the Victorian Electoral Commission for using the school
as a polling booth in November.  However, we still haven't been paid.  I
rang them today and the payment is definitely in the pipeline, but I
don't know that I will receive it in December.  

 

Does this require a balance day adjustment?   Also, I notice in the
process guide that balance day adjustments have to have school council
approval.  Can this be done in 2007 after the event?
