[Busmanagers] HR Individual Leave Report

Thanks Chris,

 

I had to check their file because the 610 leave does not affect service
but does affect the end date for family leave.

 - pity - was excited when I thought I'd found a short cut using that
report. If you were a new business manager in a school and had no
knowledge of the history - it would be easy to make a mistake.

There has always been a limit on data that can be stored on any system I
have worked with, hence the requirement for an archive.  As the archived
data is not on HRMS the report cannot access it.  Any previous 616 leave
will show on the Service History - Leave Affecting Service panel.

 

The other solution would be to check their personal file.

Chris,

I am disappointed to discover that the 'Individual Leave Report' on HR
does not include leave that has been archived - if your date range is
greater than the archive period. I was trying to determine the end date
for family leave for a staff member who has had family/maternity
previously for another child, and had hoped to use the leave reports for
code 610 and 616 to determine this.

 

Is there another method we should use?
