Technically this situation would be considered 'working outside the
department' which requires approval from the Regional GM.  In addition,
if the person is on full pay leave and working as well this would raise
ethical questions i.e.: someone being paid twice from the public purse.

 

In any case, this arrangement should only be considered when all other
possible employment options have been exhausted, meaning the school
cannot find anyone else to employ as a CRT.

Does anyone know whether a teacher taking Long Service Leave whilst on
Family Leave is able to do CRT work.
