[Busmanagers] Mail Delivery to schools

I have been given the following information:
 
The price they were quoted would be based on a "shuttle run", that picks up the mail from their po box and drops it at the school. 

They would need to redirect their mail, using a change of address form, for six months or so, and change their address on their letterhead in the meantime.  The redirection for government/business would work out at $105 for three months, $198 for six months, or $396 for twelve months. 

The $11 a day cost would only be necessary if they wanted to keep their PO Box address as their primary mailing address.... in which case, $11 a day is a reasonable charge for a pick up and a delivery!!

Hi all 

 

Can anyone please help.  We are a school with a post office box where mail is collected daily.  We would now prefer to have our mail delivered directly to the school premises.    However on ringing Australia Post today to enquire about the mail being delivered to the school we were informed that it would cost us $11 per day.

 

Has anyone else encountered this problem with Australia Post.  We don't believe that we should pay for delivery.  

Any suggestions would be appreciated
