[Busmanagers] Headphones

Hi Liz

We have used headphones since 1997 and brought them thru Polaris Communications, 387 Flemington Road, Nth Melbourne – 9326.9544. Over the years we have had the odd repair with replacing cords etc. We use Mirage, amplified, “on the ear” style headset. Using the amplified version allows us to alternate anytime between the headset and handset, control the volume and have a mute switch also. Without the amplifier you are not able to use the handset whilst the headset is plugged in. In the initial stages of deciding what we wanted the company sent out a couple of variations for us to try.

I know Boise used to sell the headsets but there is no way you would be able to “try” a couple and I don’t know what their cost was like compared to what we paid. Back in 2000 we ordered 3 more (we have one at each desk and a spare) and at the time we paid approx $210 per unit.

We have been very happy with our headsets and find it a lot easier to “multi task” as we all do. We have got to the stage now that we would like “cordless” but while our current ones are working fine there is no way we would replace them.

Hope this is of some help.

Subject: [Busmanagers] Headphones

We are currently looking at purchasing headphones for the phone system for the office. We have contacted a supplier for a CS60 Headset with lifter.

Does anyone use headsets in the office and if so what make do you use?
