Hi Terry

We went onto C21F in January this year and this worked well for us. We
made sure that we employed an extra person in admin for the first 1-2
weeks of school so that we had time to become familiar with the program
without having to answer phones. Each school is allocated funds to
assist with paying an extra so make sure you use it. I'd be interested
in the reasoning behind discouraging schools from implementing in
January, as it worked well for us. There was no need to enter budgets
twice and besides the expected teething problems we're happy that we did
it in Jan.

Subject: [Busmanagers] Cases21F - ok for holidays

Hi all

Have just read VPA minutes and it is recommended to avoid migrating to
CASES21F at the beginning of a new school year. Why is this?

We are due to go over in 2006 and I was thinking it would be great to do
in January - I would then only have 6 weeks to stuff things up & 2 weeks
break to try to repair!

What are your suggestions.
